This is an early precursor activity to handwriting as well. Also they work very well with Coloring worksheets. Make sure to work those two skills and topics in together for great results. When you make counting fun, the students really get it quick. You can also make this a contest. Who can finish the fastest? These fun activity sheets help students practice their counting skills up to 30. Students will connect the dots to create each shape shown, counting the numbers as they draw.
Extra Project Idea: Have your students color the pictures after they have connected the dots, and/or make up stories about the scene they have revealed.
