The following worksheets will help your students compare decimals, placing them in the correct order.

We break out the symbols and compare (greater than, less than, or equal) the value of decimals. We encourage students to compare the numbers moving from left to right. Unless you have numbers with the same primary place value integer, the value with an integer in the place value furthest to the left is the greatest value. The opposite is true when you are looking for the smallest value. Students will evaluate numbers in various places within the decimals.

Students will practice comparing decimals to determine which is greater, including indicating greater than/less than, ordering numbers in a series, and completing the next whole tenth.
