In algebra when you have an expression that only has a single term it is called a monomial. We will look at how you would go about finding the product and quotient of these single term expressions. In many cases the whole number is completely unchanged and you will do as you wish with that part of the expression. Exponents follow the basic rules: Products are added and quotients and subtracted.
