These activity sheets will give your students practice in comparing numbers that have exponential components.

These worksheets will include an operation with the exponents. The final answer will always be exponential form. There are many tricks you can do here to compute each operation. The 'Power Rule" tells us that when we are looking for an exponent raised to a power, we just multiply the exponents. When you are taking the product of exponents to the same base, just find the sum of the exponents to the base. When we are finding the quotient of two exponents with the same base, we just subtract the exponents. An exponent to the zero power is equal to one. The following sets of worksheets will teach your students how to compare whole numbers, decimals, and fractions that contain exponents.

These worksheets explain how to evaluate exponents, as well as how to write exponents as whole numbers and whole numbers as exponents. Both sample problems and practice problems are provided.
