When you are comparing and ordering numbers there are two methods you could use. The first is to draw a number line. Place all your values on the line. As you move left to right on the number line, the values increase. Due to this all of the value you placed on the number line are arranged least to greatest (right to left). The second method you could use is to check the place values of each integer. Start by lining the integers up vertically (one above and one directly below) and then starting from the farthest left place value compare each integer of the values.
Now and again, it is difficult to reveal to one butterfly from another. Once in a while, it is hard to differentiate numbers, as well. To contrast numbers and a similar number of digits, figure out which has the bigger first number. For instance, 420 is bigger than 240 because 4 is bigger than 2. To analyze numbers that have an alternate number of digits, Look at the spot estimations of each number. The number that stretches out the uttermost to one side is the bigger number. For instance, 240 is bigger than 85 because 2 is further to one side than 8 when put on a spot esteem outline. The number 2 of every 240 has higher spot esteem. These worksheets explain how to order sets of numbers from least to greatest (or vice versa). Some sheets contain word clues to assist with ordering.
