These activity sheets will give your kindergarten students practice in identifying numbers in a sequence.

There are a few definitions and rules in math that make the subject remarkably interesting and not at all boring. So, do you know what positions are? Let's take a look, shall we? Position in math refers to the space that is occupied by an object with respect to another object, meaning wherever something is placed, that will be its position. There are three types of positions in math: Before, Between, After: BEFORE - A value that is placed ahead or at the top of all other values is known as before. BETWEEN - Values that are placed in the middle of before and after is known as between. AFTER - A value that is placed at the bottom or at the end of all other values is known as after.

This is a slightly advanced form of counting. Students will be given a sequence of numbers with some of the numbers missing. Students are tasked with determining the missing number of the sequence. We encourage to start with the value that is at the zero position of each tens column to help them start off with this concept. These worksheets explain how to identify the missing numbers in a simple sequence. Students will fill in the blanks with one or two digit numbers between 1 and 99.
