A set of fun pages with weather as the subject for your students to color.

These are often called landscape drawings because they are focused on images that reflect nature. The planet Earth is a pretty amazing place! Did you know that the ocean, on average, is 2.3 miles deep? The Mariana Trench (western Pacific Ocean) can go as far as 7 miles deep. To top it off, Earth is the only planet that is not named after a mythical god. Did you know that wind actually makes no sound when it blows, the objects that it is pushing on things it brushes up against makes those sounds? Blizzards have the carrying ability to make a standard snowflake feel like a pellet when it hits your skin.

These worksheets focus on activities and scenes that take place in the outdoors. Who doesn't love being outside and taking in the beauty of nature? You will find many different weather changes as you flip through each of these plain old black and white outlined pictures. Use some vibrant colors and really try to bring these alive for the viewer. Class Project Idea: Have a coloring contest. Have students complete the coloring activity and vote as a class for the top three. We have put together a bunch of great scenes for students to color and grow. Coloring has been shown to help improve penmanship and stimulate creativity. Not to mention it one of the best skills for improving coordination of fine motor movements.
